Full-time MBA Director is rising star

Chris Saunders, full-time MBA Director in LUMS, has been selected for the North West Insider’s annual list of rising entrepreneurs and executives.

The “42 under 42” class of 2011, published since 1992, highlights the people whom the business magazine predicts will reach the top of their profession.

He said:  “I am delighted and humbled to be included in this year’s North West Insider 42 under 42 list. I have a wonderful job running the Full-time MBA at Lancaster where I am passionate about developing the leaders of the future. Being recognised like this is a fantastic reward for doing the things I love – helping leaders reach their potential, and directing the strategy of a business as Board member.”

The age of 42 was originally chosen because it is 10 years younger than the average age of Insider's first annual listing of the North West Power 100, a figure that has also remained fairly consistent over the years.

The Insider North West is hosting a dinner for the nominees at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester on October 11.

The Lancaster MBA is currently ranked in the top 10 in the UK in the Financial Times rankings 2011 and in the top 50 globally.
