Professor becomes 1st Chair of Psychological Education Board
Professor Peter Morris (Psychology Department) has been appointed by the British Psychological Society to be the first Chair of the newly created Psychology Education Board. The terms of reference for the new Board include to promote the advancement and continuing development of high standards of education in psychology. The Board is responsible for defining the standards of undergraduate curriculum
in psychology, overseeing the accreditation of psychology degrees, publishing advice on best practice in the provision of psychology education and seeking to influence the funding of education and training in psychology. Professor Morris also becomes a member of the British Psychological Society's Board of Directors.
