Student exams- AUT suspend action
03/29/2004 10:37:09
Lancaster University warmly welcomes the news that the AUT have voted to suspend industrial action (with immediate effect) ahead of a ballot due to take place over four weeks.
Depending on the outcome of the ballot, this signals an end to disruption of student exams and to the marking of coursework.
Delegates at the annual conference of the Association of University Teachers (AUT) have voted to suspend the action and to ballot on an offer from the employers.
Students will receive more information shortly.
