Dr Ronald Woodley, Honorary Senior Research Fellow in Music, has been awarded the John Clementi Collard Fellowship 2000 by the Worshipful Company of Musicians.
This is one of the Worshipful Company's most prestigious awards, and was won in its quincentenary year in open competition with performers, composers, conductors and scholars from across the UK.
The award was made for the continuation of research in developing a new electronic edition of the theoretical works of the fifteenth-century musician and writer Johannes Tinctoris, for which Dr Woodley was awarded a Leverhulme Research Fellowship last year.
