Working Together Learning Together
CETAD Lancaster University have been successful in securing funding from the Lancashire & South Cumbria Workforce Development Confederation to fund a 3 year strategic organisational development project entitled 'Working Together Learning Together - Making It Happen - A Strategic Organisational Development Initiative for Social Services and Health.' CETAD were a partner in the bid along with Blackburn with Darwen Social Services and Blackburn with Darwen Primary Care Trust and Blackburn, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Acute NHS Trust.
The bid, which was written by CETAD, builds upon the work that CETAD have undertaken over the past 5 years with Blackburn with Darwen Social Services and is a excellent opportunity for Health Service and Social Service Organisations to work together to develop and implement bold and ambitious solutions to ensure that services are modern, flexible and adaptable to meet the needs and aspirations of local people.
Jayne McCarten, Business Development at CETAD, said 'We are delighted to be involved in this project and are looking forward to working on this exciting and innovative project - this demonstrates the benefits our partners have gained in working with us over the past 4/5 years and we're keen to build upon this.'
