New Post for Pro-Vice-Chancellor
Professor Richard B. Davies currently Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Lancaster, has been appointed to the post of Vice-Chancellor at the University of Wales Swansea. He will formally take up the position in the Summer of 2003.
Professor Davies has been at Lancaster University for thirteen years and is currently Pro Vice Chancellor with special responsibility for business development, a position he has held for the last five years. He has a distinguished reputation as a researcher in Applied Statistics and has
published extensively with colleagues from a diverse range of disciplines, including medicine, sociology, geography, engineering, metallurgy, and transportation planning.
